The daily coordination committee (DCC) serves as contact for non-VU academic and industrial users requesting access to NIGeL. The DCC is responsible for evaluation, ranking and allocation of requests. Requests for analytical capabilities and potential access should be made directly to the relevant DCC contact :

The Daily Coordination Committee composes the following members:

Dr Pieter Vroon: (Chair DCC)Email: p.z.vroon@vu.nl    Tel. 0205987404
Mantle geochemist, Archaean environments and planetary applications and expert in MC-ICPMS

After initial discussion to evaluate the technical requirements of the project, a short project proposal maybe requested. This proposal (max 1 page A4) will need to include:

the main science goals
rock types (materials) for analysis
isotopic systems required
any known technical challenges
personnel available to undertake the work (if applicable)
indication of available finances
publication and outreach plan.
